Almerimar is situated on the coastal plain below the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and enjoys a desert climate with low humidity, warm Winters and no extremes of temperature.

The Penthouse fitting-out was completed in July 2004.  The photographs you see here were taken when the fitting was finished.  There is a photo-gallery of these images presented in large format to give you a better idea of the interior and the accommodation.

Master Bedroom - The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed a large dressing table with a chair and mirror.  The storage cupboards are spacious and the room has a large patio window which opens directly onto a tiny balcony overlooking the rear.  The bedroom is fully air-conditioned and in addition there is a three-speed ceiling fan. The bedroom has its own large ensuite bathroom. This large bathroom is directly connected to the master bedroom. It contains a large handbasin fitted in a large marble top with fitted cupboards below.

Directly above the handbasin is a large mirror which is well lit. There is a power socket for hairdryer or shaver. The bathroom is completely tiled and contains a bidet, w.c., bath and shower. A large single window provides ample ventilation.
Second Bedroom

This fully air-conditioned room opens onto the large top terrace through a patio door. The terrace overlooks the pool, the gardens and the whole resort (see top picture).  It has a triple bunk-bed which is double on the bottom and single on the top. A large walk-in wardrobe with its own window and lighting is entered through a pine door. A three-speed ceiling fan provides ample cooling at night.  The bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom entered through another pine door.

Third Bedroom

The third bedroom is on the lower living floor, contains two single beds and is cooled by the air-conditioning unit in the adjacent lounge. Like all the bedrooms it has massive storage and hanging space in traditional pine cupboards taking up most of a wall. A three-speed ceiling fan provides additional cooling at night.  There are two windows overlooking the cliffs behind and the service roads.

During the night and first thing in the morning this bedroom has exclusive use of the main bathroom which is next door.

Kitchen

The kitchen fitting is to a very high standard with granite worktops throughout.   It contains a large fridge-freezer, a touch control ceramic hob, a large fan-assisted oven, an overhead extractor with lighting, microwave, toaster, water-boiler, 8-setting dishwasher, stainless-steel sink with drainer, and a high quality washing machine with an 1100 rpm spin speed. 

Continuous hot water is provided by a gas boiler.

At the other end of the spacious living area is the dining room. There is a stylish dining room suite in natural ash wood with a very large table seating six people in complete comfort.

The serving hatch from the kitchen is directly behind this area providing easy access to and from the kitchen and the large patio door opens directly onto the full width lower terrace.

The lower terrace has the same fabulous views over the resort, the marina, the sea, the mountains, the nature reserve and the golf course and looks directly down on the pool and gardens.   The main pool is 60 metres long and the children's pool can be seen just to the left in this image. The lower terrace is provided with a table and chairs to seat 6 for any meals that you want to have outside.  It is partially sheltered by the overhang of the terrace above. There are also 6  reclining chairs of various degrees for use on the lower or upper terraces.

 Lower Terrace

The lower terrace has the same fabulous views over the resort, the marina, the sea, the mountains, the nature reserve and the golf course and looks directly down on the pool and gardens.   The main pool is 60 metres long and the children's pool can be seen just to the left in this image.  The lower terrace is provided with a table and chairs to seat 6 for any meals that you want to have outside.  It is partially sheltered by the overhang of the terrace above. There are also 6 reclining chairs of various degrees for use on the lower or upper terraces.
