Almerimar has an excellent 18-hole golf coursewhich is soon to become 27-holes.
The course was designed by Gary Player in 1976 and provides the best
value for money with the lowest green fees of any course in the area.

The Clubhouse is friendly and the
attractive restaurant provides excellent food for hungry golfers. Clubs, trolleys and
buggies are available for hire.
The
Golf Club is clearly visible from the apartment terrace about 800 metres distant over two
fairways the nearest of which is just a stiff par 3 distant and some 75 feet below. So
it’s 2 minutes in the car – it could not be more convenient.
Just 30 minutes by road to the east towards Almeria
are two more excellent courses, La Serena at Roquetas and La Envia just 10 minutes north
of Roquetas in the mountains – not for the faint-hearted!
An hour to the east is the new and highly rated Valle d’Este
golf course and another 15 minutes east brings you to the legendary Desert Springs course.
